Major World Tournaments
The "Weber Cup is the Ten-pin Bowling equivalent of Golf's Ryder Cup. The Weber Cup is the world famous major world tournament of Team Europe vs. Team USA bowling championships that happens annually.
The other major world famous bowling tournaments include the AMF World Cup and the World Tenpin Masters.
Minor Bowling Tournaments
The PBA (Professional Bowlers Association) Tour has four major championship events: the PBA U.S. Open, USBC Masters (known as the ABC Masters prior to 2005), PBA World Championship abnd the PBA Tournament of Champions.
Other minor tournaments include the Brunswick Ballmaster Open, Luxembourg Open, ETBF European Youth Championships and the European Gold Cup.
